We were hired to tackle an overgrown rental property at Bass Highway, Cooee, TAS 7320. This single home is set on a steep sloped block with extensive gardens and vegetation. The goal was to restore the property’s appearance for an end-of-lease inspection.

The job

Our task was to clear severely overgrown garden beds, edges, and a hillside covered in thick weeds and grass. The steep incline posed an extra challenge, requiring careful attention to detail and safe handling of equipment. While there was no lawn mowing to do, the front yard was so extensively overgrown that this became a huge undertaking to get it looking tidy again.

What we did

We cleared all garden beds, trimmed edges, and tackled the sloping hillside to remove the overgrowth. The difference is remarkable—photos show a drastic transformation. We even uncovered a hidden pathway and steps, giving the garden a polished and accessible look. The tenant was thrilled, saying the garden looked better than ever – he had never even seen the full pathway, nor the steps at the front of the hillside.
